How I use online storage to backup my most important private data
Do you store files online? The bad thing is, that a hacker (let´s call them cracker) could hack into a server and destroy or steal you data.
So here is the little trick that does the difference. I use truecrypt. With truecrypt you can create crypted file containers, that are mounted to your file system like a normal HDD. From time to time I upload the container files to dropbox (2 GB free storage) and adrive (50 GB storage for free). Even if the files are stolen, it would take years until they would be decrypted.
