Do you use a external hard drive? Do you want to store large files on it? Usually external hard drives are FAT32 formated – great for compatibilty reasons, but awfull when you want to store large files (e. g. the latest linux dvd). So how do you convert the filesystem without loosing your data?

run CMD as an Administrator
type convert DRIVELETTER: /FS:NTFS

The conversion process will beginn. When it´s finished you can store large files.

Do you store files online? The bad thing is, that a hacker (let´s call them cracker) could hack into a server and destroy or steal you data.

So here is the little trick that does the difference. I use truecrypt. With truecrypt you can create crypted file containers, that are mounted to your file system like a normal HDD. From time to time I upload the container files to dropbox (2 GB free storage) and adrive (50 GB storage for free). Even if the files are stolen, it would take years until they would be decrypted.

Look others straight into the eyes! That will help concentrate on this person. Looking in a other direction will intensify the feeling of unsureness.
Believe that nothing worth will happen, when you talk to people!
Don´t think that your questens disturb other people. They will not hate you, when you ask.
Sometimes you think you are shy, but most of the time that´s just a problem with your small talk skills. Gt some books from you public library or at ebay!
Practice every day! A clear spoken greeting in the elevator does not hurt.

Why I don´t worry about swine flu

I really don´t worry about the new swine flu. Ok, the world health organisation (WHO) declared a pandamic alert level of six – but this only discribes the degree to which the virus had been able to spread among humans. This doesn´t say anything about the danger or how deadly this swine flu could become. When you make some researches, for example the article on wikipedia about swine flu, you will find out that the swine flu is not much different from the normal influence each year. Did you worry about influenza in the past years? The media a topic that cann sell these stories: fear. But there is nothing much to fear.
